WELCOME.

Una Toibin is a self-taught artist, accomplished in both traditional and digital media. The gallery features selected traditional media works created between 1994-2000. The vast majority of the works presented here are acrylic on canvas, however additional media includes oils, pencil and acrylic on denim

"I prefer to paint from my imagination" states Una, "mainly because it cannot be compared to anything. My imagination takes me to places where there are no cameras and there are no physical rules. I love nature, so most of my work reflects this. You know, God is there, everywhere and a constant reminder that my life is a gift. My gift in return is what I create."

A few other comments about Una Toibin's work:

"Una Toibin has a soul that knows no bounds. This is obvious when one views the entire scope of her art. From the free spirit of the new age to her staggering recipe of color blends, Una is a gifted lady. From the reflections of midnight owl to the ancient castles of Ireland, Una washes our memory in Sligo Bay. Art is a God given talent, not as some insist, an inherited trait. This I know to be true because I can not draw a crooked line. If my praise is biased, that does not make her art less but our love more. With as much humility as I can muster, I state clearly, Una Rules."

"Una enriches the psychedelic artwork within The Psychedelic Bus CD-ROM by letting us use digital images of her paintings within the game and on the box cover. The images within show some of the power and beauty Una gives to the canvas. Enjoy!

"Una Toibin is merely the receiver through which the Other Dimension communicates with our world. Acrylic painted, these fresh images and abstract landscapes are more soothing than a full body massage." -Punchline Magazine, Richmond, Virginia

"I was in a local music store, and I happened to glance over at the magazine rack. That's when the amazing cover of Relix caught my eye (vol 26 #3, artwork by Una Toibin). Absolutely, without a doubt, the most beautiful, awe-inspiring cover to date."
- Joey (a Relix Magazine Reader www.Relix.com )
